The Antur had an amazing time at this year’s Eisteddfod! Thanks to everyone who came to visit our stall, and also to everyone who supported our activities.

Our stall was very busy, and we sold lots of our homemade crafts, as well as produce, including cakes, bara brith, jams, chutneys and blackcurrant cassis.
Beics Menai had a range of adaptive bikes on display, and there was also furniture on display from our Warws Werdd show room.

We had a busy timetable of events throughout the week.
On Monday, we had a walking football session in the sports area, which was great fun – and there were so many goals that we lost count!

On Tuesday, Beics Menai held a cycling session in the sports area. This was a chance to ride our fleet of adaptive bikes and find out more about about the services offered at Beics Menai.

On Tuesday afternoon, we held a careers drop-in session at the stall, which was an opportunity to find out more about what it’s like to work with us.
We also had a very special visit from the Archdruid, Geraint Lloyd Owen, and the workers all enjoyed meeting him and telling him all about the Antur.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Antur’s mixed ability choir performed on the stall. The choir had received tuition from Annette Bryn Parry, and Gwenda Griffith kindly accompanied the choir on the piano. The choir drew a large crowd, especially when Elin Fflur made a special appearance to sing with them! This was a great expereince for everyone involved.

So, all-in-all, it was a very successful week, and we had lots of fun! A big thank you to everyone who came over to say hello.
