Menna Jones – Chief executive at Antur Waunfawr
“Before Covid-19 hit in late March, 2020 it had been a productive and stable year for Antur Waunfawr. We were able to offer more services for individuals with learning disabilities and as a result more staff were appointed to support them. It has also been a productive year for our investments, with work starting on the Porth yr Aur, and our ‘Green Shed’ (Sied Werdd) project in Cibyn being supported. New partnerships have also been established and despite the end of year disruption, the long-term prospects for Antur are positive.
I very much hope you enjoy reading this Annual Report which summarises the main achievements of our events and projects throughout the year. The health and well-being and work of the 3 green businesses were prioritised, but there was plenty of fun and enjoyment. We are extremely proud of the effort and dedication of everyone at Antur, and the success of the initiative belongs to everyone. We look forward to 2020 confidently with the aim of achieving the same high standard of service, providing additional experiences and opportunities for the existing workforce, and also extending a welcome to new people.”
